A little stumped about what’s causing the brown and yellow on my Hoya’s leaves. I initially snipped the 1st and 3rd leaves off thinking they got sunburned from my grow light, but it’s been in the same spot since November with no change in the direction or distance from the grow light it was under. I moved it to a new spot that’s farther from the grow lights but within 2 days, more leaves started getting damaged. I’ve currently got her quarantined in case it’s something fungal, but I don’t have any source of humidity for them this season (I live in PA and don’t have a humidifier), so I’m leaning more towards something akin to edema. I’ve checked her for pests and found nothing, but she did have 2 mealybugs on her a little over a month ago. Haven’t seen them since (and I’ve repotted her, checked for root mealies and put systemic granules in her soil). She’s in a well draining cactus mix, her roots look healthy, I Iet her completely dry out between waterings, and pat her leaves dry and let her dry overnight before returning her to her grow light. I have been concerned about the potential of it being my water. I don’t use tap, but I use water from my fridge that’s connected to local lines. The water tastes fine, but I’ve noticed since switching from bottled water to the fridge water (that I let sit overnight to come to room temp in water bottles) that I’ve been getting little mushrooms in my soil every week. This is one of the only plants that I haven’t seen the mushrooms pop up in, and I know those don’t tend to be an inherently bad sign, but felt it was worth mentioning. She’s one of my favorites, so any help in helping her out is greatly appreciated. TIA 🌱
