What is the best liquid fertilizer for a variety of plants?
I use dirty fish tank water. I’ll Add some liquid foliage fertilizer once a month. Once a month I’ll add a low dose systemic insecticide as preventative. But I swear by fish poop water. If you don’t have a tank you can possibly talk to a local aquarium shop about acquiring some of their dirty tank water. It’s super nutrient dense with stuff plants like. My Chinese evergreen and that tai con have tripled in size in a matter of months as well as several other plants in my care. (Please ignore my neglected pieces I’m trying to revive… got sick and a few of my temperamental ones suffered🤦♀️)
2 LikesIs your fish tank planted? I have 2 tanks, but they’re already heavily planted, so I’m wondering if the plants are using most of the nutrients already. I do use my fish water on my outdoor plants.
1 LikeYes my tanks are all mostly planted… I add a bit of flourish or aquarium safe iron and potassium (small amounts)…. Basically I dose my dirty water as if I’m dosing the tank to replace nutrients. The main thing is the fish poop. That stuff is liquid gold to the plants and I don’t have to go buy it, my fish already make it.
0 LikesI’m a big fan (my plants are as well) of BioFert 100% organic - BioFish 3-1-2. I use it on everything except my orchids. AND it doesn’t smell like the inside of a waste water treatment plant 👍🏻

I use Growth Technology Foliage Focus. It’s a little more expensive but WORTH IT!
