    I don’t use it personally. Many people have issues from the sounds of it and I’m terrified of overwatering

    No.. follow your own judgement for your environment and plant. They only give suggestions from the time you added your plant to the site

    I don’t rely on it. I mostly use it as a reminder to check the soil.

      Same here. It’s a nice reminder, but I have to snooze or skip probably 80% of the time.

      That’s why I gave up on the app the first time I signed up. Now I just use it when I do my daily check in with my plants

    It's glitched out on me on fertilizing as well told me to fertilize my baby red Earth star every other day 🙄🤦😵‍💫

    I use a custom watering schedule instead of plantas schedule so I can still get planta notifications, but I always check the soil the day before and day of, and then adjust the schedule of needed.

    It would be impossible for planta to predict with great accuracy because the people on planta come from so many different situations. Their house could be humid or dry, could be drafty or too hot or too cold. They can only give general recommendations based on what you tell them.
