Depending on the plants you have, that might not be necessary. When i was a teen, i killed a monstera by misting every day. This can break down the protective layers on the leaf, and you can burn it by misting while its sunny. You can use a spray bottle to mist twice a week, or you can buy a small plastic greenhouse.

Your house can get moldy if you buy a large one that mists the whole room. As long as your plants are sitting on plastic, not wood or cardboard, its should be OK in moderation. Keep it away from the wall. Turn it off and let the area dry off daily.

Don’t have the mist blowing directly on any plants or furniture. I have never had an issue with too much moisture. That corner the humidity is about 50%. Other side of room the humidity is only 20-30%. In my experience, you will need a room size humidifier.
0 likesI’m using a smart DREO humidifier in my room near my plant shelves - it’s a fine mist, I can set a specific humidity to keep the room at (it is a smaller room) and can create whatever schedule I’d like for it to run! I’ve only had it bout a week and a half but so far I love it!

0 likesAmazon! I got the smart DREO 4L 28db, 36 Hr run time - not cheap but not super expensive, worth the money for being able to control it to the extent I can from my phone
