Are these corms? I was repotting my new monstera plant into what turned out to be 6 different plants, and found these in the roots. Any ideas? So I didn’t know what to do with them so I put them in some soil to see what happens lol. There was a pointy end that I put facing up.

monstera don't grow from corms, they grow from seeds. monstera are flowering plants when done right! but these seeds don't look fresh / viable to me. still plant them and see if you get anything, but i'd assume these are casings of the seeds the other plants were grown from, or that they were failed germinations.

Thank you! I will see if anything pops up, but won’t really expect it to happen. It looked to me like they were stuck to the roots. I guess it’s good that I repotted and got them out.
