Diluted neem oil with tap/bottled water has worked for me! Even just spraying heavily infected soil and then wiping the leaves has gotten rid of it for me🙃
2 LikesI second the neem oil treatment. I had a bad infestation of spider mites on my tomatoes and a solution of 1.5 tsp of need oil, .5 tsp Carole soap and 1 qt of warm water makes a great spray I used on nearly everything in my garden to keeps all sorts of nasties away.
1 Likehow often and for how many weeks were you spraying?

Once a week. It’s been 3 weeks.
0 Likestheir life cycle is up to three weeks but since they hide well it might take you up to a few cycles to fully get rid of them 😪
0 LikesUnfortunately systemic granules work on nearly every plant pest but spider mites. I used a 1-1 rubbing alcohol and water plus a pump of dish soap, saturated the plant with it and scrubbed every leaf with a two inch paint brush. Once a week for about three weeks. Neem oil did nothing in my experience.

I sprayed the plant with alcohol yesterday. I am scared it will burn the leaves 🙈 since it’s an Alocasia
0 LikesDo they get in the soil?

0 LikesI learned that spider mites are attracted to dry environments. If you keep your plant misted, they don’t like it. This is especially true with my croton.
