I need advice. Does anyone think that I should pull it out and check for root rot? It was a cutting from my sister-in-law and I don’t wanna lose it. It seems like it’s turned a new leaf, but I don’t know if I should still check the roots.

Can you see the roots in the clear pot? Most of it looks really good. I’m wondering if it’s getting burned by the sun. Especially since it’s the white parts that are turning brown.
1 j'aimeI cannot see the roots, and I just recently moved it to the window because I feel like the soil was just not growing out completely

Was it already turning brown before you moved it? Do you see any bugs?

Hmm. If the soil seemed like it wasn’t drying out and you see gnats, then I’d be tempted to change out the soil. And then you can get a good look at the roots too

0 J'aimeThis may not contribute to this exact issue, but I notice you have the monstera strapped around the petioles. I definitely recommend that you try to find the stem or "back" of your plant and secure it there. When secured on the petioles, they can break
