Hey guys! I’m a new plant mom rediscovering my love for nurturing plants. I had ordered a bunch of them without knowing much through plantsome, mainly making sure they were non toxic as I have cats. It’s been nearly a month I think and all my plants seem to be doing well with new growth except for this one. It arrived with some cold damage and one torn leaf. I read it’s a tricky one to tend to and I’m glad it’s not dying on me yet but it’s also not looking bright or showing signs of new growth. I make sure it gets good indirect light and watered as the app suggests. Any suggestions or tips to care for this one and what it might need.

    I don’t know anything about this plant but keep in mind it’s winter which slows down growth, and some plants are slow growers as it is! Don’t give up hope, she may just be resting right now :,)

      Ya that sounds right. Guess I’m just gonna have to be patient with this one. :)

    They are sensitive to chemicals in water. Some use distilled only and some use water conditioner or other forms of less harsh water. You also have to have humidity for this one. Your plant looks great! You must be doing something right! 😎

      Wow thanks, that’s really reassuring! I switched to filtered water after the first time I watered it. I try to keep the humidifier running constantly in the same room. Just waiting to see some sign that it’s better than fine. 😅
