SondraI think it depends on the plant. A self watering pot has been great for my rattlesnake Calathea that wants consistent moisture, but it’s probably not so good for plants that like to dry out a lot between waterings. I also have an aglaonema that came in a self watering pot and I decided to keep using it since the plant looked good, and honestly it seems to be working out just fine, it’s throwing out a couple new leaves and looks healthy.

Let Her GrowDepends on the plant. I’ve had this peace lily for about 7 years and she’s been in a self watering pot for the last 3 years and has grown like crazy since making the transition. They are a love/hate relationship for me. So I’ve got my select few plants that have them 😝
