Curious when sone 6 people usually brings their houseplants inside for the winter. I think I’ll do it this week - low of 39 Wednesday, just wondering if anyone else has a rule of thumb.

NunyabzwxWhen its below 50 degrees F consistently i take my plants in, however, this year i took them in at 40 degrees F and they were just fine.

SunnyLook up the temperature ranges for your plants. Bring them in when the temperature is below the lowest they can handle. Most of my plants are tropical varieties. I bring them in before the temperatures reach around 55°F. I rarely bring in my monstera, jasmine, tradescantia, some spider plants and my ponytail palm. See the photos. They have been outside many years. I bring them in when the temperature drops to freezing. 🥶 They have acclimated to within temperatures above freezing levels. 🪴🍀

Everyone is inside and dispersed throughout the house to avoid the whole jungle feel. Let’s see if hubs notices when he comes home from work travel! 🙀
