Looks like a Porcelain Flower wax plant

I’d seen this but thought that referred to Hoyas in general, not a specific one!

I have this problem to. I feel like it’s catch all and I want specifics, lol. But, I’m also fairly new to this so I’m learning I can’t always have what I want. As for this one, I’m inclined to say it’s a Hoya Crassipetiolata.

ChatGPT is the greatest plant assistant. Helps me with all of this-in some ways far more helpful than Planta. Planta is better for reminders by far, though. ChatGPT doesn’t do that… yet.

Yeah, I had been using Chat GPT but I’d ran out of free usage 🤣

It’s likely a Hoya clandestina. I have a Hoya anemone which is close but smaller rounder leaves.

It looks like my Hoya Crassipetiolata. Mine is a bit lighter from being in direct sun. The flowers will tell. The flower buds are a distinctive olive green shade. The plant grows like a weed. 🪴🍀

It looks exactly like this but has been very slow growth for me, it’s got much quicker since introducing a grow light! Do you trellis yours?

I don’t use a trellis. It grows very fast for me and I just wrap it like a garden hose to keep it from hugging its neighbors. I’m in coastal South Texas. So, it gets lots of heat and humidity plus morning sun. I keep it in its original hanging basket (6” wide).🪴🍀

I’m in the UK! I have the humidifier going and a grow light on it so hopefully it’ll improve! x x x

It should do well with the increased light and humidity. Just watch the temperature to keep it warm. A hygrometer near the plants is helpful to track the temperature fluctuations and humidity levels like the freestanding one in the picture, as an example. Fertilize with 50% diluted liquid fertilizer twice a month. Decrease the fertilizer if growth slows in winter months. 🪴🍀
