Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with my new plant? I’ve only been watering it when the top bit of soil is dry. It’s outside where it’s quite humid. The soil it came in wasn’t great, so I had to repot it right away, but the roots looked healthy. The new leaf coming in is now getting pretty brown, and the previous leaf has what I think is a burn along with some little spots that are maybe little burns too? I’ve checked it over and don’t see any bugs, webs, or anything obvious. Any ideas what could be causing this?

    I agree that is seems burned. I’d avoid putting the leaves in direct sunlight for too long, as it scorches them and harms the overall health.

      The older leaves came like this as it was stuck outside at the store however I don’t know why the new leaf is so brown. I only have it in indirect light.

    It’s probably just going through a repot shock. I have two that are doing the same after repotting. I guess I pissed it off

    It looks almost like a magnified burn, like light is bouncing off something and hitting it directly in one spot. Has it been in the same spot since you brought it home or have you moved it at all, even just to water it?

      That burn spot was there when I bought it. Sorry I didn’t make it very clear in the post. The new leaf coming in brown is my main concern. I just wanted to make sure something else wasn’t wrong with it too from the other spots but I agree it definitely looks like a magnified burn. It’s a shame it’s there, but it is sort of pretty.
