Morning! Want to repot my Tradescantia Pistachio but as you can see she’s developed into quite the… situation 😅 the potted part of main plant is thriving! Then it vines into the shallow pot where several spots have also rooted. What’s my next move? How would YOU approach this repot? Main concern is what to do with the viney bits that have rooted in the shallow pot and if I just plop them into the new main pot soil to make fuller? Other thoughts/tips/tricks welcome! She’s doing great and I don’t want to set her back but this particular set up is no longer ideal. Thank you in advance! 🍃

You can combine them all into the larger pot if you like; they take root very easily as I’m sure you know. Or you can put into smaller pots and gift them to other plant lovers in your life. It’s really your call. Follow me for more plant tips @ Once_Upon_a_Plant 💚💚

I love the idea of the plant in the shallow pot and making its own plant there. You can cut the vine that reaches into the shallow pot to make the two plants. Or, I would gently take them all out of their current pots and transplant into a newer pot that accommodates all the vines, possibly need to cut a few of the vines if need be, but if parts of them are rooted they should be fine
