That spider plant will grow huge because mine was that size when I got it and now it is this big!

Staghorn fern! Easy, no special light or humidity requirements, non-toxic, fun & funky-looking. 😄

i do NOT recommend begonias like the other commenter said. they are incredibly fussy and far too complicated for a classroom. however, pothos in general are very hardy and would certainly be a great addition!

Depending on the variety of begonia, I think they can be a good fit for a classroom. I have an Angel wing begonia that is very satisfying to grow because it puts out big beautiful leaves quickly and I care for it the same way I do my pothos. Not fussy or complicated at all. My begonia actually came from a cutting from my daughter’s 6th grade classroom 😊

you must have the magic touch for them. all of my begonias have hated me and staying alive 😓

Pothos, heartleaf philodendron, other dracaenas, zz plant, aglaonema. They usually don’t mind being in a low light environment.

Chinese evergreens would love the sunlight exposure by those windows. Mine has begun to thrive once moved in front of sliding glass door
