To water it, make sure you're actually getting the roots. They're silvery when dry and turn dark when wet. Make sure excess water drains out. It can be tricky to get orchids to rebloom, so most people enjoy the flowers as a temporary thing. Once the blooms are spent, trim off the dried out parts. Leave the flower stalk if it stays green; they can reuse that if they decide to bloom again

Orchids also appreciate misting and relatively high humidity

If the instructions say anything about an ice cube, IGNORE THAT. It is completely wrong and will shock your orchid. They need room temperature water, and some are sensitive to tap, so using filtered or bottled water might be best. They need a very well draining mix as they are epiphytes, meaning they don’t naturally grow in soil in their native environment, so use an orchid mix or orchid bark for soil for this plant.
