Iād definitely check the roots for damage or rot to start, especially if it was originally sitting in water at the store. And just wanted to let you know your peperomia is a marbled peperomia obtusifolia, not a Ginny. If thereās any root rot, feel free to come back and I can walk you through how to treat the rot if youād like. If the roots look good and itās a new purchase, itās possible itās going through some serious shock from entering a new home, especially if itās cold this season where you live. Hope this helps!
1 LikeThank you for letting me know! Also, Iāll take a look at them and see and let you know what they look like. Hoping for the best..
1 LikeOften times those little pots that plants come in do not have a drain hole. If it does have a drain hole I would follow Adrian's advice. If it does not have a drain hole I would repot it as soon as possible into something with appropriate drainage. You should probably even let it drain and dry a little in the air, maybe even a little fresh soil without disturbing too many of the roots before you put it into a new pot
2 LikesThank you for the advice! Iāll take a look at the roots and see if there the problem.
0 LikesFirst thing I thought was get it out of the water! Mine has gotten flopsy mopsy and I input it and let the soggy soil fall off the roots then put it into dry Miracle Grow Cactus, Palm and Citrus potting mix. It seems to be a good soil for my houseplants here in SW FL. Hope it recovers! šŖ“
1 LikeI put it into a cactus and all purpose soil mix shortly after I brought it home. Do you think that would be okay? Also, I remembered that those are three separate plants in one pot, so Iām wondering if I need to put it into a separate pot?

1 LikeHey, there š thought Iād ask for an update if you still need help with your peperomia. Did you get to check the roots? š¶
0 LikesI havenāt been able to take a look just yet. Hopefully will be able to tomorrow!
1 LikeGot it! Fingers crossed that there the roots are alright! š¤
0 LikesSorry to hear that 𫤠at least the roots are healthy, though! Now that itās warming up again, hopefully itāll start to recover and work on some new growth since it doesnāt have to focus on root development. Are you still looking for any help with it? Also, from the photos you attached, it looks like the plant youāre showing now isnāt a peperomia, so was this planted with the peperomia as well, or did you mean to post about this plant somewhere else? If this was planted with the peperomia, it looks like youāve got a dieffenbachia or prayer plant there, which has different care needs than a peperomia, so if they were potted together that could explain the problems you had with both plants.
0 LikesI apologize š¤¦š½āāļø wrong plant lol. The original plant on this post, I havenāt taken out and looked at just yet. It still looks the same and the leaves are still healthy, so I figured itās just because I have 3 individual plants potted into the same pot and maybe thatās why theyāre leaning? With this peperomia plant, it is dying left and right. I canāt seem to keep it happy. I did move it to a smaller pot since it was in a rather big pot for its root size, and hoping it does better :(
