This was labeled as a white knight, but it’s only variegation is pink and it has some all black leaves. I see that the stems do look like a white knight but I haven’t seen any others with leaves like this. Is this normal? Thoughts?

I think that’s a PPP. But it’s pretty low variegation. I think it may have been mislabeled? I’m no expert but I have a PPP and it looks just like this, just more variegation. I keep mine in pretty bright light. Anybody else have any thoughts?
3件のいいねYeah, that’s what I thought too, although the stems do have the white on them like a white knight would. Hmmm. Thanks!
0件のいいねOh I didn’t notice that. I just saw the color of the leaves. 🤷♀️

0件のいいねI looked up a white knight and it does look like a dark white knight. I think I’ve seen them put out occasional pink variegation but I think it’s uncommon. Put it in the light and see what it does!

This is mine. The burgundy stem with white pinstripes is pretty indicative of a white knight. They’re green-based leaves, but they have the potential for both white variation and red overlay. Having a lot of red overlay makes the green look blackish. If the red overlays on variegation, it can look pink. I love these guys for those reasons ☺️

If it get more light the variegation should increase. Also once size increases trimming it can help that color show on new leaves

0件のいいねIt’s the white edge along the petiole that makes it a white knight. PPP’s don’t have that white border on the petiole.
