In the app is there a trick to coordinating the liquid fertilizing schedule with the next watering schedule? It’s annoying to water a plant and a few days later there’s a task to fertilize and then I’m snoozing or skipping. Am I missing a feature? I know I can look at each plant’s info to determine, but when you have almost 200 plants there can be over 50+ tasks some days. Going into each one gets very time consuming. It would be much easier to have it coordinate the two instead of the extra steps and research. I sometimes wonder if logging on a spreadsheet and using AI might be an easier way to track and view the big picture :) 😆

Can you manually add fertilizer when you water in the premium version of the app?

You can add type of fertilizer in premium (if that’s what you mean). I use liquid so it wants you to water then a few days later at fertilizer, there doesn’t seem to be an option that connects the two automatically. And yes, instead of water you select fertilize and it covers water. But when tasks come up it’s separate

I don’t even know if you mean the same thing as I’ve just done When setting up the plant click don’t add fertiliser and override it with a custom task and you can match them together for once a month every 3 weeks or whatever thing you wanna do for that said plant

Thank you! To date I just select liquid fertilizer as the option when adding a new friend lol. I think your method makes the most sense as a work around. I’ll give it a try when adding new plants, then if successful, will slowly start editing those already on the app. It may take time with close to 200 😬 Just wish there was a connection or logic linking the two tasks (watering and fertilizing)!

Sameee I haven’t got the many I need to go through so it’s not too bad. Just do couple plants a day before bed and you’ll be done in 76 months hahahaha

Add a random plant before you go editing your proper ones and mess something up tho!

I stopped listening to the app. Mine were not doing well. I fertilize once a month. I water and mist every 9 days.

Totally thought this was just me too! I submitted a bug to Planta about it actually. They said it was bc I was late to water 😂 but I know that’s not true bc the tasks are literally days apart. Good advice above but hope Planta is listening!

Maybe if more people submit it will make them see we all aren’t doing it wrong!

Not going to lie, it's frustrating that this is a problem especially when we pay for premium. Bugs get fixed with Apple users but not android. This happens because it says your days late to water but for some reason just checking off the box that you watered doesnt update the schedule and the next scheduled item from the original watering time will still pop up. The way to fix this is to manually go into the plant profile and add the watering from the bottom right instead of checking the late task. But this is SO TIME CONSUMING and very annoying. I'm going to submit the bug as well. I think as many people should submit it as they can. It's frustrating that they don't update android and prioritize Apple.

I’m on apple. Have screenshots to show watering isn’t late :)

Like the whole point of the app is to simplify plant care especially when I have 80 plus plants but this makes it take so much longer.

That's good to know then, because that means it's a bug and the algorithm is messing up not adjusting the schedule

They need to create a group specifically for app discussion and where they have a team member check it regularly.
