Hi all. Any suggestions on how to grow large potted cactus outdoors in an all sunny location? What types of cactus do you recommend..

    My bunny ear cactus grows like crazy. It’s small right now, I have not had the courage to repot it to make it a fuller pot. But I can imagine it would do well in a large pot as well.

    Prickly pear cactus (opuntia) are easy to grow, likes sun, and come in several varieties. Dragon Fruit cactus gets big with supporting structure and produces delicious fruits. Column cactus like Cereus Peruvianus grows big with beautiful night blooming flowers. Night Blooming Cereus, Epiphyllum Oxypetalum, starts as a hanging plant. It can get over 8ft tall on thin bamboo like branches as the root ball gets bigger. The photo shows one of my plant after blooming They bloom often in the summer.
