Question about fertilizing succulents. A lot of articles/videos online say not to fertilize succulents in fall and winter. Planta, however, is indicating that I should fertilize my succulents with scheduled dates this coming month. Do you fertilize your succulents in the fall? In the winter? I bought GrowMore Cactus Juice but haven't used it yet because I read not to fertilize succulents until spring-summer. I welcome your thoughts. Thanks!
My rule is if the plant is still growing actively still fertilize. Indoor plants can be fertilized all year round

Succulents have different grow seasons. I think most aeoniums have fall winter growth times. Most are the usual spring summer. And from what I have found online, it’s based on sunlight and not temperature. So I just avoid all the confusion of trying to figure it out and use a succulent food that lasts 9 months. All seems good with them. And if you use grow lights, it just adds to the confusion. 🤷🏽♂️

growth cycles can depend on the individual plant. i have plants of the same species, some are even propagations of each other, and some slow down as it gets colder while others continue chugging along. imo if your plant is ignoring it being winter, you can too. if your plant is still growing, fertilize as normal

My Christmas cactus LOVES being fertilized this time of year, it seems like overnight she sprouts new leaves. It varies per plant. I just try to make good notes and listen to the kids. 😉
