In need of some help with a couple of my plants!!! My donkey tail has never been in good condition since I purchased it, leggy growth, discolouring, leaf drop, shrivels up :( and I can’t bring myself to let it go! It does share a pot with other succulents who have done nothing but thrive and consistently grow! Any advice helps!! I also have another plant who goes through phases but always blooms! My cute little olive tree! But always seems to have something going on! I have growth still coming in and very little leaf drop just wondering if I can make it thrive like it did!

So what’s happening here I believe is your other plants potted in the same pot are taking nutrients from the plant. It doesn’t seem dead, but it doesn’t seem all that happy either. Repot, Isolate, Leave It Alone, She will grow! And if your other succulents are thriving, maybe leave them..! Some unconventional things work sometimes.

Leggy Growth and leaf drop usually mean they’re reaching for more light, or staying too wet. I’d defiantly recommend separating it like I said above, and giving it a gritty cactus mix and only watering once the the soil is set and dry. And if it’s reaaaaaally bad, which it doesn’t seem to be, propagate start fresh, it’s a new year anyway.. ! Goodluck 😌

And as for your olive tree they’re quite the drama queens, but sometimes and what you described isn’t always bad. lots of direct light, good airflow ( not a fan, or at least direct ) and letting the soil dry down more helps it more than you’d think. Your olive tree will definitely bounce back! Don’t give up on them they’re both in Okay condition.
