My father in law has this and says it is an orchid? Can anyone help me ID it and let me know if there is anything I can do to save it? Thank you so much for any help!

    It does not look like an orchid, it looks like an aloe vera plant. It’s got a couple of new shoots, so it is probably not beyond saving. It probably needs re-potting at some point, because I don’t know what kind of dirt that is. To start with, though I would cut off the dead parts and give it a good watering.

    That’s an aloe 🤣 I’d trim away the bottom pieces that aren’t green anymore

    Pot looks like it might be too big!

      I repotted it in a smaller pot and get the dead leaves all trimmed off. I’m hoping for the best!
