New bubble? I'm new to keeping plants alive, and I'm very proud of myself for all my progress, but I've been hesitant to get my Bubble a new bubble... I'm thinking it may be time, but she seems to be doing okay and I don't wanna mess up whatever she's got goin on in there. If it's time to get her a new home, should I try to stick to a similar glass shape or does it not matter?.
I’m no expert, but I kept my swiss cheese plant in her bubble for well over a year. I took her out and planted her in soil…but she was doing fine in her bubble. I’d say if she is doing ok, let it ride.
3개 좋아요 Thank you! She recently had a bit of an algae coverage so I've been worried abt that again and hyper aware of everything to do with her, lol. I do not plan to move her into soil, since she seems to love water, but good to know it could be done.

As long as there’s space for the roots to breathe around each other and it’s not crammed, I would just wait until the root ball is almost too large to come out of the vessel. Replanting it in soil vs water is up to you but using a vessel that’s the same diameter all the way around allows for easier removal later if you pick water again.
