Would like to cut these dying leaves off. How should I do that so that she can grow new ones? And is this from over watering?

It looks overwatered. The leaves looks translucent on some areas. Look at the back of the leaves for translucent patches which are signs of overwatering.

Sounds right. Do you know how I should remove them?

To remove the leaves just cut with a sharp blade disinfected with rubbing alcohol. Removing water from the soil can be done by letting the soil dry out before watering again. Use a wooden skewer or chopstick to test for moisture at the bottom of the pot. Don’t strictly follow Planta’s watering notifications. You can also remove the pot to see if anything is blocking the drain holes. Let the soil dry out a few hours. You can change out excessively wet soil with dry soil and wait a day before watering the new fresh soil. The wait gives the roots a day of rest. Disturbing the root system can damage the fine roots putting additional stress on the plant. It’s a tradeoff. Don’t let the plant sit in drainage water. 🍀🪴
