Sweetheart plant repotting question.. my sweetheart plant has been in well draining soil but it’s time to repot. It recommends a variety of mediums, one being orchid mix (bark chips). Will it stun the plant if I completely change potting mediums or stick with what I had when repotting? Thanks!

Hoyas like to be in a smaller pot. I would only change to a larger pot if the plant has issues with water drainage due to over grown roots causing a blockage. There are many recipes online for making a hoya potting mix if you don’t want the prepackaged commercial mix. Some include bark chips. Coconut husk chunks are a common ingredient in place of bark chips. They all work when they drain well and allow more air to the roots than standard potting mix. No need to change the mix if the plant is happily growing in its current mix. 🍀🪴
