Why is one of my tomato plants significantly larger than the other? Same light, same soil, same water & same tomato plant type

    Could they be different varieties?

Don’t worry—that’s Mother Nature! 😊 Even with the same variety, soil, light and care, individual plants can grow at very different rates. Root development, genetics and even tiny differences in their growing conditions can make one take off while another takes its time. I’d just hope all the tomatoes end up the same size—LARGE and edible! 🍅😂

I mean, why wouldn’t a tomato be edible in the first place

Just a little tomato humor mixed with a little bit of my experience 🍅

Mine is huge and all I see is yellow flowers. No tomatoes at all 😢😢😢

Nitrogen for foliage, phosphorus for fruit/blooms, and ash for health. A good phosphorous rich fertilizer will help.

Mine did the same thing. Our best plant started out as the runt. It really surprised us!
