I believe it might be because of humidity or another water issue

Do you have any recommendations to where I should put it? I have it on top. Of something in my kitchen window. There's full light, and that's what they need.Do you think it'll be too high up

I think they like partial light, but if the window is a North, East, or West facing window I’ll just leave it. South might be too bright. I also recommend watering it every 10 days or so, making sure the soil is moist not wet. But depending on the variety misting is a good thing to do to.

    What soil is it in?

Overwatering and compact soil could definitely be causing them to drop like that

      It's in Mother Earth soil

I would suspect the roots aren’t getting enough air. More chunky fast draining soil is needed.

That's weird because i've been using the same soil for the past, like ten years, and all my other plants are doing amazing

Have you used it on this species before? I have different soil mixes for different species and their different needs. Soil isn’t one size fits all in my opinion.

It could be the water is flowing around the soil because the soil got too dry at some point. Try bottom watering by letting the pot sit in water until the top of the soil is moist. Then, drain off the excess water. Don’t water again without checking that the soil is almost completely dry using a wooden skewer, chopstick or similar tool. How far away from the window is it located? Which direction is the window facing? A north facing window especially in winter may not have enough light. Too low of a light can cause it to go limp. Verify it’s getting sufficient light with a light meter app or a light meter. Hard water can affect the plant. Switch to distilled water if you have tried everything else or use a ph test kit to determine the make up of the water. 🍀đŸȘŽ

Hi Sunny! Happy N.Y.! This winter I’ve been submersion watering my plants, maybe every 8 to 10 weeks. I have a Lowe’s bucket on the second floor, my roommate probably wishes I would empty is after feeding, and I use it to fill with water, lots of water, and then WATER BATH TIME KIDS! arrives. I put the pot and plant in the bucket till it’s submerged, holding onto little ones, until bubbles stop. Then I let them all pee in the tub, at least an hour, to make sure no one wets the window sill. This method has worked well except for the exploding dirt bombs that sometime appear. You know, all wet under water, then the next thing you know a poof bomb of dry dirt appears. It never gets wet. Some smaller plants I even have to make sure they do not pop out of their pots and float away due to a bunker of poof bombs of dry dirt. I really need some new dirt for some of these soldiers. 😔 Has that worked? This is a Lowe’s rescue 2 summers ago. I brought him home, BUG INFESTED, and I had to remove all of his original leaves within the first fall. We just passed the second fall (I’ll confirm that.) Not only are these two leave frond fine, in my opinion considering how little Western facing window light it gets, but the rhizome has produced new shoots!!!! đŸ„łđŸ€©đŸ„łđŸ€©đŸ„łđŸ€© To all remember this: You’re Coaches. You gotta remind the young offshoot plant-playa’s in your pots
. You can do this guys!! It’s January. February is a piece of cake for you guys at 28 days, depressing for us humans, but March 1 is straight ahead! Light! Lots of light is coming! Everyone now sing to your plants the Wilson Phillips song: Hold on!

W O W. What kind of cheese steak do you like and would you mind babysitting my boy for a couple of sandwiches? (Kidding. Kind of. Yes kidding. I think.)
