my caladium is flowering! i was very excited to see it, but some gardening websites recommend pruning to conserve plant energy. does anyone have any suggestions or experience with flowering caladiums?

Do you keep this plant indoors? I love caladiums I would love to keep them but my friend said they’re very difficult to keep alive as an indoor plant. Also what type is this one? Absolutely beautiful.
0 Likesyes! she’s a “carolyn wharton” caladium. i bought her a couple weeks ago fully expecting her to die in a couple weeks which is why i was so shocked to see flowers!
1 LikeI have an arrowhead caladium and it produces the same flower-things but they always shrivel so I’ve been cutting them off. I was wondering if that was normal or if I was doing something wrong to make them wilt. I’ll be looking for any replies to your question.
