Help! My Diffenbachia is so sad. This was a cutting that grew roots in water for about 8 weeks, until the roots had roots. I potted it into chunky soil mix this weekend and it’s so droopy now. Is this transplant shock or something worse? I don’t want to lose it 😭 I’m trying to keep it damp since it was grown in water. Please advise!
Usually plants get droopy or sad after repotting, but it will adjust in a few weeks.

My diffenbachia was an absolute nightmare until I put it in semi-hydroponic (leca). I think my house was too dry for it. True that plants do get dramatic with big change… but I think some really like water. 💦 So maybe a humidifier or a mini greenhouse for it and if it doesn’t improve, semi hydro… ? Good luck!!

I’ve propagated many from one mama and always in water. They take a little time to adjust but they’ve never flowered are all thriving.
