Hi guys, I have a question. Does the grow light have to be above the plant like the sun? Or is it ok to be on the side or even slightly under the plants level as shown below? 🤷🏽‍♀️🤍🪴

So technically light is light, but everything I’ve read has said that not positioning it above your plants can make them grow funny and may not be as efficient.

I agree with the above comment. Also, check the distance from the light. Most grow lights I've used need to be within a foot from the plant to be effective. Check with a light meter or light meter app.

yeah the most effective grow light position is it hitting the top of the soil/plant. and this looks to be quite a bit away too.

It is not hitting the soil. I will definitely make some changes. Thank you.🩷🪴
