I have a question. Do peat pots need drainage holes or are my plants okay?

They allow water to drain. Compacted soil can slow the drainage.

Peat pots kind of ARE drainage holes! They are kind of like a sponge. Hold water when initially wet, but also allow all the water to drain and dry quickly. So if your plant likes moisture, you have to monitor it carefully.
