I’ve had this money tree for a few years I’m not to familiar with these plants however I’m repotting her and her root system is so small the stems have been looking shriveled. Any idea on what this could be?

Underwatering causes the stems to develop that look. They normally have a small root system. How are you watering? They store water in their trunk so best routine is dry out and then drench. Should have a faster draining soil as opposed to an organic rich soil. Assuming it’s a pot with drainage and you empty saucer after watering.
いいね 1件I had this happen with a money tree but the issue was root rot. That dried look was actually just really soggy/moist.
0件のいいねYes that too because the roots are not able to take up water or nutrients and therefore the plant becomes dehydrated. But assumed the poster would have noticed the bad roots during the repot.
0件のいいねI just put it in a draining pot and bottom watered it with plant food so she got a good soak. Hopefully she perks right up
