I have ordered a humidifier and I need advice. I want to get a hygrometer (a device that helps measure the water particles in the air aka humidity) but I am stumped by people telling me all this information about these brands working and not working. I would rather get the opinions of others about their models and how it works in their space, if you have a hygrometer could you give me some advice?

Highly recommend the Govee line of products. They have humidifiers, hygrometers and smart plugs that work extremely well together. All my setups are automatic with on/off timers for my lights and regulated humidity levels. They are fairly priced on Amazon too.

If you’re looking for a cheap option this one is 11 dollars off of Amazon and it’s been working awesome for the past six months

Yeah, mine looks virtually the same. I think it was $9 at Lowe’s. Been working for… wow 3 years now I think. People like to get fussy about accuracy, but my hygrometer and the humidity percentage setting on my humidifier always agree within about 5% or less. Good enough for me in terms of accuracy

Exactly! Sometimes accuracy and price do not go hand in hand, if it works it works no matter if it’s cheap and for yours to be going strong for three years just proves that. Unrelatedly, I have a kitchen blender that I bought at Walmart ten years ago for less than 20 bucks and it’s still going strong lol
