Please help! This part of my plant just fell off… I didn’t realize it had these bumps until now. Are they harmful, what are they, and is there anything I can do to prevent them from being on the plant? Thanks On second thought - Are these scales?
It looks like rot. Touch the end of its mushy then it’s rot and if recommended repotting your plant. Now to save that one cut until you see healthy part. If you want you can get sulfur from the plant section and let it dry and plant it and you have a whole new plant.

0개 좋아요 You don’t neeeeed the sulfer but it help keep it from growing bacteria cause it’s essentially a open wound

Yeah looks like rot. I’d break off the top right piece and stick it in some damp dirt to restart the plant just incase. Poke holes in the dirt to let it dry out or repot it and water it with 1/3 hydrogen peroxide the hydrogen help treat and heal the rot so it doesn’t continue to spread
