Has anyone had this problem ? The sheath came off it was dried out I figured the leaf would open soon, but nothing yet !

    So here where Iā€™ve circled, it looks like a broken of point from what I call a ā€œfailed leaf.ā€ Sometimes if a plant is repotted or has a dramatic change in its environment, the newest leaf itā€™s forming will be abandoned by the plant and die off. Sometimes my plants will keep growing the sheath even though the leaf has shriveled up inside. So maybe the empty sheath finally dried and fell off, and the new leaf youā€™re seeing is the next one coming, still in its own sheath. Disappointing when it happenes, but the plant should be fine if itā€™s still pushing out new growth

      So itā€™s a leaf in a sheath in a sheath ? šŸ˜… itā€™s grown since repotting and the sheath opened dried up and came off. Repotted about 2 months ago

      Assuming this is also new growth ? I want to note as well my last leaf or ā€œnewest leafā€ is quite smaller than the other more mature leaves on the plant

    I canā€™t tell from the pic but does the leaf look fully formed? Like can you see the edge of the leaf where it would start to open? Iā€™ve had that happen to me as Mullein describedā€¦. like sheath inception lol. And maybe Iā€™m seeing things, but this spot here looks like a leaf was trying to grow? Maybe that was your original leaf and it was shed during repotting, and the second new leaf grew within the original sheath?

      lol I honestly have no idea what happened Iā€™m still waiting for something to pop out but nothing yet ! šŸ˜… also canā€™t really tell if thereā€™s an edge where it should open it looks solid to me šŸ¤” lol Iā€™m honestly baffled šŸ˜†
