My entire collection is in clear pots now! And so will my future babies that join my little plant family. I love ChatGPT. I don’t have a lot of IRL plant friends, so she’s been my go-to when it comes to plant parenthood. 🥹💚

Thanks for the tip!
1 me gustaFor sure! 💚
0 Me gustaChat is right on the money. It is so nice to see how the roots are doing through the clear pots!🪴
1 me gustaI love it! 💚
1 me gustaplease do not use generative ai. it's horrible for the environment. you cannot claim to be a plant lover and then turn around and use chatgpt, which makes thousands of gallons of water undrinkable every day. there are online forums for this, like the one you posted this to. please be better.
3 Me gustasecond this. you can always ask for tips/ideas or just share on this app. Lot better than AI which harms the environment and thus plants
3 Me gustaIt’s so crazy! Love my clear pots. I know exactly what’s happening with the roots and soil. I’ve read some things that say the roots shouldn’t see light, light stimulates root growth. I do have mine in semi transparent planters, but I’d be surprised if it really mattered. My take on it anyway.
1 me gustaI’ll look into semi transparent planters as well! Thanks for sharing! 💚
1 me gustaI have most of my plants in clear pots, but they’re (mostly) in ceramic cache pots. That way I can easily pull them out and check on things, but they’re still mostly dark. I hadn’t heard the thing about keeping roots dark, so that’s interesting.
1 me gustaSame, I have most of mine inside ceramic pots as well.
0 Me gustaWhat I read was that roots exposed to light think they’ve reached the surface (sun) and can start sending out shoots. Idk, I haven’t had an issue.
