Is no tap water for plants really true! What does everyone do instead?

    I use rainwater when available otherwise I use tap water and add a water conditioner to remove any contaminants. I have over 100+ plants and several that are very sensitive to tap water. Since adding API Stress coat to my tap water all my plants are happy and healthy.
