I repotted my raspberry plant and there was this small one. I separated it and put it in its own pot but it started to die because it has no roots. I have dipped the roots in aloe Vera gel and put it in water. Do you think it will recover?

    Disclaimer: I am a plant noob so take any info with a big Ole spoon of salt 😭. I have rasberry plants, and I've been looking into propagation. Your little rasberry plant aka sucker does have roots just not very big ones. I'd say try pruning off some of the plant leaves. The plant leaves might be too big/too much demand for the little root to keep up with. General rec is equal root length to leaves. E.g., if the roots are 3 inches horizontal, then keep 3 leaflets on the top and prune the rest off. Also put it back in dirt and mix in some fertilizer to encourage root growth.
