   For that aloe, snip off dead leaves, and also if there’s dry tips, snip off the tips. If the aloe leaves are squishier than normal, give them a little extra water. For the monstera, check for overwatering or under watering and soil makeup. Extra wet soil can cause root rot. Try to get moist, but not dripping. I like to use a plastic chopstick to measure wetness. ‼️check both plants for pests! Common ones that I see are thrips and spider mites, which are usually white. Pests usually are the cause of poor health like these plants and ugly-colored spots. Monsteras also LOVE humidity, so if you don’t have a very humid room or humidifier, spray your plant regularly. They like bright light, but indirect. If there is root rot, be sure to remove affected roots before placing in the pot. Hopefully this helps! :)

   i second what was said above! to add on a little more,use a well draining chunky soil and draining pot no bigger than 1-2 inches bigger than the rootball for both, but a cactus/succulant mix one for the aloe, as its a succulant and likes to stay dry (water when fully dry, soak when watering)! the monstera's mix can retain more water, and i like to wait until its 1/2 dry or more before watering. i use fox farms with lots of perlite and vermiculite. you can also throw in things like coco chips, orchid bark, pumice, even a little leca!
