A friend gave me this cylinder snake Plant to divide. She just wants one and she want to give one to another friend and I get the rest but I'm not sure if that would be good for the plant. Any advice and what size pots should I use if I do divide it. Thanks for any help

theres a chance they are all already separate plants, but if not, the main thing im worried about is if the pups have roots or not. if any of them are pups and have good roots you should be able to just gently break them off from the mother! simple as that :) for the pot sizing, they should be 1-2 inches bigger than the rootball! a pot thats too big could lead to rot, as the excess soil holds on to moisture that the plant sits in for longer than it would like. these guys are also succulants - make sure to use a chunky, well draining cactus/succulant soil. good luck, hope this helps!
