My office ZZ plant has a new growth! But I’m not sure how to give her some TLC. She receives office light and gets watered every other month. Some of her leaves are starting to yellow a little, but I’m not sure how to prune or promote good growth. Any advice would be appreciated! :)

check her roots. she may be root bound. prune yellowing leaves and leggy growth. healthy cuttings can be propagated and returned to the original pot for a bushier look :)

Thank you for the advice! 😊 Does that mean I might need to prune the tall new growth? I’m a little afraid of damaging her

yes. the plant will continue to grow when it's cut! pruning back taller growth tells the plant to spread out more & it will grow another stem (hopefully multiple)

I would also get her a small table top grow light. Nothing special as she doesn’t need much in the way of light and feed her when you water Cute baby! I just started my raven zz from a corm🥰

Mine came from a little baby rhizome (not corm but it is corm/seed like in shape with this one). I use humidity domes from the dollar tree /it doesn’t have to cost a lot to work) and adjust the air vents as needed. Less open=more humidity. More open=higher air flow less humidity. Once they are established no more dome. You can also prop by cutting. In water, with hormone in soil (bonus points if it’s in a pot with a spider plant as they release rooting hormones into their medium.

If you’re repotting, I’ve had bad experiences with just plopping my plants in the pots with just 1 small drainage hole and I’ve been slowly moving towards potting into the ugly nursery pots, then placing it in a decorative pot. It helps when watering as well because you can bottom water directly into the decorative pot, then dump the excess after an hour or so. If you really want to get into it, you can get a grow light. I like the Sansi brand. But I know grow lights can be ugly so I won’t blame you for not wanting to, especially for a ZZ. I love watching them grow, mine’s has grown so much this spring. You can see him in the nursery pot with the decorative pot around it.
