Hello, all. I am repotting my plants into better draining soil. I just repotted end of March but learned the hard way the soil wasn’t right. My question is: do I water the plants once repotted or wait until scheduled watering. Thank you.

Always a good idea to water when repotting otherwise it can over stress the plant and cause more leaf loss. It encourages them to start growing into the pot and helps them have a more stable repot

Ok. I worried bc they are all exhibiting signs of overwatering so I wasn’t sure. 👍

Give them enough water to get a drink then let them babies dry out good before the next watering.

Would also recommend checking for root rot and removing any bad roots and spraying with peroxide water mix to kill any root rot bacteria and use fully fresh soil

Oh, good. I did do that so I’m reassured to hear that. I caught it early but I’m a newbie so it’s good all thanks to this app and plant community. 🙏
