Has anyone used a water bulb in their monstera I want to cause she hasn’t been as happy with not having a self watering pot her size.

I don’t think it’s necessary. I’ve had a monstera for over a decade and it still won’t die no matter how long I go without watering it. When I do water it, it sprouts huge new leaves with fenestrations. They are pretty hardy imo.

Monstera would prefer to dry out between waterings, so I don’t think a bulb or a self-watering pot are the way to go

I have a few plants in self-watering that do decently because once the reservoir is dry, I then leave it dry for a while (depending on the plant). You could use the bulb but not refill it right away between uses? That way it acts like a boost to the soil retention rather than constant water.

Honestly, I wouldn’t use a water bottle because it gives uneven watering, but if works for your plant, nothing should be stopping you
