Soo I know that crotons are very picky, but I’m trying to figure out how I can give her better conditions. Since I bought her 2 months ago, she’s lost a bunch of leaves. She gets grow lights for 4 hrs, I water her as planta says, but check the soil to see if it’s dry first, and humidifier on at least every other day. Unfortunately my apartment heat circulation isn’t great, and averages between 65-69*F in the winter months. Is this what’s making her so unhappy?

That one leaf looks dry? Maybe put the grow light on for longer. I’ve seen these plants successful in Florida where they get a ton of sun all day long. I had a successful crouton for seven years. I pretty much ignored it until I needed to water it. I watered it really well. I had her in good sun. Never misted her. I say in the past tense, because this past summer I accidentally damaged her when repotting, and she died 🫤

Yes, two of those leaves are dry and I cut them off after the pic! So you’re saying less water and more light seemed to work for you?
