Although it might have something to do with this side not facing the sun
0개 좋아요It may be sun stress which is where the plant is exposed to too bright light for too long. It doesn’t hurt the plant or alter its health, just its colour. It may be a deficiency but I think that sun stress is more common.
2개 좋아요Well, that’s strange because I have that side facing away from the sun
2개 좋아요Wait, hold on thanks for the information. I went back on a couple of photos and realized that I did have it facing the sun for a while. I totally forgot. Thank you.!

Mine did this when I didn’t water constantly.
좋아요 1개Your question is already answered but I'd like to add all haworthias turn brown if too much sun, they like lesser sunlight 🥹

Mines is outside full sun. Never turned this color until I don’t water it. For a period of time.

0개 좋아요Yep, I agree with everyone. It’s sun stressing. 😊 But I would like to add a few things. Even though it’s called sun stressing, it doesn’t actually hurt the plant. It’s not the same as a sunburn. A lot of succulents, which haworthia are, look green when they’re younger. Then they show their true colors as they get older, and have enough sun. A lot of times the sun stressing is what brings out their true colors. 😍 My husband pointed out that’s probably why we (not me, just society as a whole) call someone green when they are new at something. I had never made that connection.😅 I’m not sure what variety you have, so I’m just going to guess yours is not supposed to be brown, and it’s more a sign that it could use a little less light. It should not hurt it, though, as long as its leaves, still feel firm like usual. It could even be this one’s mature colors. 🤷♀️ There’s so many different varieties of succulents, it’s hard to keep up with them all!🤪 If you like it, keep doing what you’re doing. If you don’t like it, maybe move it to somewhere with less light.
