      i second this! Make sure your pot has drainage, and the soil mix has enough aeration. that way when you water you’ll be less likely to get root rot

    The pot looks too big with excess soil holding too much water. This can add to the cause of root rot. Snake plants like a tight fitting pot. I would downsize the pot after cleaning up all root rot. Then, replace with well draining soil. 🪴🍀
