I like my lil ol Barinna T5’s. I don’t have a huge collection though, so someone may have a better suggestion. The Barinna strips are pretty simple.

Hi there, depends on where you are planning on putting your plant and your light ie shelves or a desk. If you have shelves, then Barrina T8 are my favourite. For tropical plants I position them approx 1.5-2 feet (or 45-60cm) away from the bottom of the shelf. For succulents, I do about a foot (about 30-35cm). If your shelves are not moveable and the distance is only about a foot and your plants are tropical, I’d use a less intense light on the shelves like the Barrina T5. If you a desk lamp or floor lamp, you can use a grow light bulb. If this is your first go with grow lights, I would probably buy a less expensive one like the grow bulbs from IKEA. I find them quite good and they’re not as heavy as some of the heavier duty bulbs. They also tend to fit standard lamps better because their wattage is 18W whereas a lot of the bulbs on Amazon or eBay are about 30-35W which often exceeds the maximum wattage on typical lamps. Let me know if you have any questions, I like talking about grow lights 😁😁😁

I love the Bseah Grow lights…they have two tube, a growing and fruit light variation, and a timer you can set for 3 hours, 8 hours, or 12 hours of light! They’re also only $16.99 on Amazon! They work great!
