You don’t need to split them. They can just stay where they are. If you still want to remove them, I would suggest a YouTube video. It’s easy to split them and you want roots on the pups.
1 LikeI’ve had success just severing the pups and the mother at the connection point beneath the soil, as long as the pups already have their own roots.
2 LikesThey grow pups cause they are lonely don’t split them until they crowd out the pot then repot in a longer rectangular style pot
