Hi everyone! I need a little help. My swiss cheese monstera named Remy here has been doing great but one stem has really decided to have a mind of its own and has now grown about a foot and a half outwards within the past couple of months. The rest of the plant has also grown since I’ve gotten it but not nearly as much as that one arm lol Is there any way I can cut it without harming my plant or can I propagate it to replant? I’ve never propagated or trimmed any of my other plants before so any advice helps! Thank you!

this usually means it’s growing towards a light source or trying to find one. they can handle quite a bit of light! you can certainly cut it (it won’t harm it whatsoever) and propagate it. in fact, chopping a plant promotes more growth. I have the same plant and mine won’t stop growing. I have a moss pole and just wrap it around, which you can also do.
