My Scindapsus wall. Have the tall moss poles setup behind my grow rack with automatic irrigation pumps. Left to right. Scin Jade Satin Aurea (JSA), Scin Halimoon, Scin Peasun, Scin Mayari I’ve had the JSA and Mayari for about two years. Chopped them both multiple times over the years. The Mayari is almost 9ft tall now and is climbing up my wall.
Beautiful! How did you get your Mayari to grow?! I have about 9 different scindapsus but the Mayari does not grow for me at all 😩
0개 좋아요 Mayari has been one of the easier ones for me. I can’t grow Argys, Treubiis or basic Scin tricolors at all 😅. Chunky soil mix, lots of light (under a grow light for 13hrs per day), ambient humidity for this one, diluted fertilizer with every water infuriating. If your Scin isn’t growing, putting it in higher humidity like a prop box can help jump start the growth. I’d also check the roots to make sure everything is healthy
Amazing! Why do you have saran wrap on the moss poles?
0개 좋아요 I use grafting tape or planting packaging tape on the moss poles. Same effect as Saran Wrap, just easier to apply. I use it to wrap the moss to help keep the moss moist. The poles dry out too fast if the moss is fully exposed.
